The History of the Internet - 1974-1983
"Packet switching is the breaking down of data into datagrams or packets that are labeled to indicate the origin and the destination of the information and the forwarding of these packets from one computer to another computer until the information arrives at its final destination computer. This was crucial to the realization of a computer network. If packets are lost at any given point, the message can be resent by the originator."
It amazing how technology grew since 1974.In the military especially technology has greatly improve . For an example if we are under attack we still have control of nuclear arms for a counter-attack.And in 1972 the first e-mail program was created by Ray Tomlinson. In 1972 people used the way of sending letters through the mail but now we can write an email and receive a respond within minutes.

ANCIENT MAN ON THE MOON? | Clipmarks

ANCIENT MAN ON THE MOON? | Clipmarks: "ANCIENT MAN ON THE MOON?"
An amazing flock of Scientist from around the world are engaged in a new and potentially terrifying form of Satellite archeology. Many of these Satellite sleuths are equipped with PHD's and even worse Masters degrees. Nonetheless they soldier on looking for relics of ancient civilizations not on the Earth but on the Moon and now MARS. In all fairness the photos and storylines proffered by these dedicated surveyors can be riveting. Hours are spent looking at film footage and photos taken by a fleet of NASA space probes, landers and manned missions. High quality images are downloaded from NASA websites and reviewed by sharp eyed believers who are constantly battling with a troop of NASA airbrush artists bent on removing any and all evidence. What are they looking for exactly? Solid photographic evidence of ancient ruins on the Moon and Mars.
is there really life outside of our earth?
The 10 Most Puzzling Ancient Artifacts | Clipmarks

The 10 Most Puzzling Ancient Artifacts | Clipmarks: "The 10 Most Puzzling Ancient Artifacts"There is a great deal of archeological evidence that the history of life on earth might be far different than what current geological and anthropological texts tell us.
Could it be, however, that conventional science is just as mistaken as the Bible stories?
Consider these astonishing finds:
The Grooved Spheres
Over the last few decades, miners in South Africa have been digging up mysterious metal spheres.
The kicker is that the rock in which they where found is Precambrian - and dated to 2.8 billion years old!
The Dropa Stones
The spiral groove, it turns out, is actually composed of tiny hieroglyphics that tell the incredible story of spaceships from some distant world that crash-landed in the mountains.
The Ica Stones
The most astonishing etchings, however, clearly represent dinosaurs - brontosaurs, triceratops (see photo), stegosaurus and pterosaurs.
The Antikythera Mechanism
The Baghdad Battery
The Coso Artifact
Ancient Model Aircraft
Giant Stone Balls of Costa Rica
Impossible Fossils
It weird but cool because all these artifacts shows some kind of evidence of the past

New Tool Trains Athlete Brains To React 53 Percent Faster

New Tool Trains Athlete Brains To React 53 Percent Faster: "New Tool Trains Athlete Brains To React 53 Percent Faster
ScienceDaily (Nov. 26, 2008) — All great athletes know that in order to perform well, they can't just depend on their physical capabilities. Speed and efficiency in decision-making are just as essential. Two researchers from the School of Optometry of the Universitde Montral have discovered how to train the brain of athletes to improve their overall athletic performance."
This is really effective for star athletes because it prepares them mentally and physically which can be successful in their game.
World's Earliest Nuclear Family Found

World's Earliest Nuclear Family Found: "World's Earliest Nuclear Family Found
ScienceDaily (Nov. 18, 2008) — The earliest evidence of a nuclear family, dating back to the Stone Age, has been uncovered by an international team of researchers, including experts from the University of Bristol. The researchers dated remains from four multiple burials discovered in Germany in 2005.The 4,600-year-old graves contained groups of adults and children buried facing each other – an unusual practice in Neolithic culture."
This is cool because it shows that the discovery was about 4,00 years ago and to know how they lived back then. But it is also sad to know how they died.

The Future Of Robots -- Computer Scientists Program Robots To Play Soccer, Communicate With Bees
This is different and shows how our world is relying more and more on technology. We are even teaching robots how to play soccer.
Engineers built humanoid robots that can recognize objects by color by processing information from a camera mounted on the robot's head. The robots are programmed to play soccer, with the intention of creating a team of fully autonomous humanoid robots able to compete against a championship human team by 2050. They have also designed tiny robots to mimic the communicative "waggle dance" of bees.
